Emergencies happen, so do the unexpected. Let us know how to further provide support during this time if needed (picking up extra clothes, getting snacks, filling water bottles, etc.) We don't trauma plan but we're not naive either, we are equipped for the fast paced environment and are ready for the unexpected if it were to happen.

This helps reduce separation probability of you and your partner OR you and your baby.

This labor and delivery support can be helpful for anyone giving birth and their partners. We do our best to make sure you stay together the whole time, have everything you need without separation of your support person, and make sure your emotional and physical well being are being taken care of to the best standard.
-
This could be even more helpful especially for those that don't have a birth plan, lack support person/people, are giving birth alone, are military spouses, have had traumatic births in the past, are at high risk for the pregnancy and delivery, single parents, coparenting, and so many more.

The same person who knew you during pregnancy, now gets to see you postpartum and can detect any mental health issues related to postpartum mood disorders. This reduces risk factors as you will have the same person from pregnancy to postpartum.
-
This also helps to reduce overwhelm at home if there is any, help aid discussion between partners, and make sure you are on the right track to bonding healthily to your baby.
